About What Looks Like Ordinary...

First let me say that I am by no means a writer. This blog was started mainly for me. I needed somewhere for all these thoughts to go and get out of my head. It was also started for my family and friends. How do you make a big announcement that your son has Asperger's? It's not like there is a Hallmark card for that. And third, it was started with the hopes of connecting to others who have been touched by Asperger's or Autism.

Deciding on a blog name was not an easy task. Finally I came up with "What looks like ordinary on a crazy day." At a glance our family looks pretty ordinary. A mom, dad and two kids living the dream. But when you look a little closer, you realize there is so much more. I try not to let Asperger's define Jacob and our family, but it is such a big part of our daily crazy life.
